Yucky or Yummy?

Class 1 have designed some truly yucky sandwiches to get rid of those pesky seagulls who keep eating Mr. Grinling's lunch.

Having decided that we wouldn't like to eat them either, Class 1 made some yummy sandwiches to eat instead.

Delicious! Not a crumb left for those seagulls!

Fabulous flowers

Last week, the whole school made fabulous flowers from old plastic bottles to decorate the garden. Year 6 helped us to cut, shape and paint our flowers. Class 1 loved how gloopy the paint was.

Aren't they beautiful...? We can't wait to see them in the garden.

Something fishy going on in Class 1!

As part of our seaside work linked to our topic of The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch, Class 1 have made beautiful clay fish.

Once we'd shaped, decorated with clay tools and left them to dry we painted them....

Just look at them now!

Come and have a closer look at the school art exhibition on Friday 14th June.

Our Chick Visitors

Class 5 very kindly shared their chick visitors with us. We were able to see them before they hatched, as they hatched and then Class 5 brought them to visit us so that we could handle them. They were very cute. They are going to help us with our Understanding the World work on life cycles.

The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch

Our topic for the Summer Term is The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch.
