We've had a visit from Percy the Park Keeper...
He's given us a problem to solve. How many flower pots does he have altogether? We've been trying to work it out.
The children have been enjoying listening to stories and writing letters and drawing pictures of him.

Love is in the Air
On Friday we had a Valentine's Day day. We made cards, thought about those we love and made some very special Valentine's biscuits to share with our loved ones.
We creamed the butter and sugar....
Carefully added beaten egg, vanilla essence and flour...
Rolled out the dough, and then cut out the heart shapes.
We hope our families enjoyed them!
God's Wonderful World
In RE this term, Reception have been thinking about God and how Christians believe that He made the world. The children enjoyed learning about the creation and what was made on each day. We created a display to show what a wonderful world God created.
Float or sink?
The children have been investigating materials. They have been predicting which objects float and which sink. They were a little surprised by some of their findings.
