Shape Walk

We've been learning about 2D shapes this week. Some of us went out and about looking for shapes and then we took photos of them.

Percy's Park

We've begun creating Percy's park in our classroom. The first thing we wanted to make was a big tree that our animals could live in as in the story 'After the Storm.' We mixed our own paint and used huge paintbrushes to make stripes of colour for the tree trunk after going outside to look carefully at real trees to see what colour their trunks were.

When it's finished our tree will be much taller than us!
