Wintery Wanderings

Reception went out on a winter adventure today to see what we could find. We spotted beautiful frost crystals and wrote our names in the frost.

 We also found big chunks of ice which we took back to the classroom to see what happened to it. We put some outside under our canopy and some more inside the classroom. Can you guess which melted first?

Finally we went down to the field and made a wiggly track in the snow, working as a team. What do you think it looks like?

Floating and Sinking

We have been exploring floating and sinking with Miss Hall. We've been testing out our ideas and predicting whether objects will float or sink...

Meeting Harold

Reception had a wonderful time in the Life Education Bus last week. We learnt lots about our bodies and how to look after ourselves and enjoyed meeting Harold the giraffe and his best friend Sam.
