Chinese New Year Workshop

Just before half term we were finding out about how people celebrate Chinese New Year. Mrs Slade came to visit. She works for Cheltenham Museum and brought lots of wonderful objects and activities about Chinese New Year for us to see and do.

We used special pens to write Chinese characters and practised our cutting skills using special Chinese scissors.

We also got to practise our balancing on stilts, plate-spinning and chopstick skills.

We had a great time and learnt lots.

  1. The Chinese mask looks good and the Chinese writing looks good.
